About The Role:

Your will be part of the data warehouse team whose main responsibility is to manage an ODS and a Data Warehouse. You will be responsible for the data quality issues as well as complying with the regulations. You will also conduct project management activities.

  • Reviews demands, problems and enhancement requests from various business and IT teams Conducts feasibility, value analysis and effort estimation with developers Guides relevant departments based on these outcomes
  • Creates attribute mapping of new demands with source system owners, profiles data with ETL developers and source system owners
  • Creates the optimal DWH migration plan with the vendor and manages the process to make it happen compatible with project timeline
  • Analyses data quality problems prior to notification from different teams proactively, finds the appropriate solution, implements necessary control mechanisms to prevent further problems
  • Conducts RFP and PoC works in Turkish Airlines data domain, manages the processes regarding product selection, supports purchasing and contractual processes with the vendors
  • Effectively manages activities regarding operational processes, ensures the performance and efficiency of the outsource personnel
  • Fixes vulnerabilities identified by information security team in coordination with ETL developers
  • Keeps the disruptions that can jeopardize business continuity under control, takes mitigating actions, designs alarm mechanisms, keeps the critical documents up to date and accessible all the time
  • Keeps himself/herself up to date about the technological advancements in the products (new versions, new features), follows the product road map with the vendors Defines new metrics, SLAs whenever needed
  • Follows the technology trends and business needs for industry-wide and worldwide Suggests necessary plans for services and infrastructure for those trends
  • Ensures that data access rights are provisioned to the teams aligned with their domain and needs
  • Ensures compliance with KVKK and GDPR regulations

  • Advanced level of SQL knowledge
Other Requirements
  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree at related fields
  • Good command of the English language
