Data Governance Consultant

About The Role:

Data Governance Consultant enables organization to achieve data governance principles through policies, processes and tools.

APPLY
This position will
  • Creating Data Governance policies, procedures and standards which will comply with local and global regulations and corporate policies
  • Planning and executing data governance, data quality and data ownership activities
  • Working in collaboration with business units and IT teams to improve Data Glossary definitions and Data Quality rules
  • Calculating and reporting Data Quality scores for data domains periodically to data owners and top management
  • Supporting Data Discovery processes
  • Managing issues and risks relating to data management
  • Ensuring that organization is compliant with the data governance standards, procedures and regulations
  • Increasing data governance awareness throughout the organization
How do we describe the perfect match?
  • Minimum 2 years of proven experience in data governance, data management or data related IT roles
  • General knowledge of data governance, data quality, data security, data architecture and data modelling concepts
  • Advanced SQL techniques
  • Experience with a data governance tool is a plus
  • Experience with business intelligence reporting tools is a plus
  • Experience with KVKK/GDPR is a plus
  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree at related fields
  • Good command of the English language
  • Passionate for discovering, tracking and solving data related problems
  • Strong communication, coordination, organization and teamwork skills
