Senior Test Automation Engineer

About The Role:

Test Automation Engineer works as a part of the team to design, develop and execute Software Test Automation solutions using automation tools (Selenium, Appium, Cucumber, TestNG, etc.) as well as integrating any other solutions (Jenkins, AWS, Docker, Device Farm, etc.) whenever necessary.

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining test automation scenarios
  • Executing automated test scenarios such as regression, smoke, etc.
  • Developing and executing non-functional tests
  • Analyzing and reporting the test results and logging test outcomes
  • Working within an agile team
  • Building and maintaining the test automation pipelines and infrastructure
How do we describe the perfect match?
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline
  • Fluency in English both spoken and written
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Software Test Automation
  • Experience in QA and software testing – test case planning, test case preparation, test execution, defect management & defect resolution
  • Excellent understanding of testing concepts and the role of QA in the software development lifecycle
  • Strong Java development skills, good Object-Oriented Programming knowledge
  • Ability to create web/mobile application tests using Selenium, Appium, Cucumber, TestNG
  • Experience creating API and integration tests using Rest-Assured, SOAP UI, etc.
  • Experience in Performance tests using JMeter, etc.
  • Experience in CI/CD integration of test automation frameworks (e.g. Git, Jenkins, AWS, Docker, Device Farm)
  • Experience in test management tools (e.g. JIRA, Xray)
  • Experience in Agile methodology software development process
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Has strong desires to learn and explore new technologies
  • Collaborative team player, strong interpersonal skills
